A Brief History of The Challenge
May 2005 found Ed Dale sitting in a New York coffee shop. During his stay, Ed was exposed to the National Novel Writing Month, an intensive month long program during which people write a novel. At this point, Ed's business was creating quality niche websites and he had the process down to a fine art. Something caused Ed to link the two together.
The seed was planted. Create a training program that taught people how to find a niche and create a website with the goal of making $1 in thirty days. And the whole thing would be free to participate. It was the perfect way to introduce people to Internet Marketing and get them started online. From that simple idea the Thirty Day Challenge was born.
Back in Australia and motivated to give back to the community that had served him well, Ed convinced GuruBob to come on board and in July of that same year the very first Thirty Day Challenge took place. In that first year, just over 1000 people participated.
The Thirty Day Challenge has run every year since at around the same time of the year and has grown exponentially every year. In that time, Dan Raine has become part of the team, as well as a number of people in the background as the scope of the program grows.
The Thirty Day Challenge has continually evolved and has kept up to date with the changes taking place online. In 2010, the Thirty Day Challenge has been rebranded as 'The Challenge' and has been restructured to take place over a longer time period. There are now seven training modules, each of seven days duration, with a week off between each module
(7 x 7 x 7).
To date, over 150,000 people have benefited from the Thirty Day Challenge training. It has been, and will always remain, free*.

The Challenge - Job Board
The Challenge Job Board is something new. It will be a place where people can come to if they're looking for some help and are willing to pay for it, be it technical work, creative work or other jobs related to Internet Marketing. It will be a place for people with a good skill set in any area of Internet Marketing to earn some extra cash. They can post their resume for people who are needing work done. People who are doing The Challenge should not use this job board as a way to get other people to complete The Challenge for them. As the old saying goes, "give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.."
*The training materials are completely free, however, participants are strongly recommended to purchase a unique domain name and web hosting that may lead to a small cost.
