The Challenge

Well 2011 has certainly been a year packed with changes, we have had Google+, the explosion in mobile, and the good old Panda update to name a few of the biggies.

2012 is certainly going to bring a few surprises and of course opportunities along with them, so as is tradition Ed has recorded his 2012 predictions podcast which you can listen to or download below.

I was supposed to be on the recording but unfortunately had man-flu at the time so Ed is joined by the ever insightful GuruBob.

I however will be recording my opinion this week with Jon Dean from The Immediate Edge labs and will let you know as soon as it is released.

I am loving listening to this, and it brings a lot of thoughts and work together.  I really appreciate the tips and emphasis on Ebooks and Google+  Thank you!  Diana

excellent info, in-fact outstanding great insights, putting some of the ideas into effect sometimes seems like you need a fair amount of technical skill or more in-depth programing ability. Like making your site mobile or all the squeeze pages. Many of us are single people making content and don’t have all the technical skill, some of it, but not all the html stuff. I would love to see you guys take us through creating the web side of things with some simple lessons. We can make the content, pdf, video, it is all the external stuff that is so hard.

Great point about niching down one or two levels below your competition.

Ed – I know you love Pitch Anything but also have a look at The Challenger Sale by Matthew Dixon and Brent Adamson. Compliments Oren’s work but goes deeper into the anatomy of the pitch and 4 factors: Constructive Tension, Teach for Differentiation, Tailor for Resonance, and Taking Control of the Sale.
